June 23 Sermon: Dependence on God in His Work
1Cor 2:1-5.
It takes the power of God for us to serve God. As human beings, the attempts to rely on who we are in the flesh is a very real temptation: the enemy has many tricks to cloud our faith/focus and hence deny us the intimacy with God. This message reminds us to focus on nurturing our relationship with the Lord. When we address the internal inconsistencies about our own faith, then we grow and serve the Lord with integrity and joy. We become dependable, faith-filled members of the Lord’s Church. Let us depend on God as we serve Him!
