Pastor Francis Lando accepted Christ as Lord and Savior in 2003 through a colleague while teaching in Kenya. This was after narrowly missing to join Seminary to train as a Catholic Priest some years earlier. Later, he moved to the United States and joined the Faith Worship Center. Since then, Pst. Lando has continued to steadily grow in the faith, witnessing to the saving grace of the Lord, and actively taking part in building the Body of Christ through dedicated service and prayer. Ordained as a deacon in July 2009 and as a pastor in 2018, Pst. Lando served in Faith & Grace Worship Center until August 2021 when he joined Transforming Life Church of God under leadership of Pst. David K. Biggers.

A graduate of Maryland Bible College and Seminary (MBC&S), Pst. Lando is a vessel in the Lord’s hand. His pastoral installation and the inauguration of Faith Gospel Church, Baltimore, is a timely fulfillment of a prophecy that the Lord had been speaking regarding his call to ministry over several years. In 2016 at a revival conference in Virginia, Pst. Lando had an encounter with the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit. This has been followed by momentous spiritual growth, that has culminated to today’s celebration.

A stellar educator with Baltimore Conty Public Schools, Pst. Lando is married to the love of his life and a partner in ministry, First Lady Sharon Lando. Together, they serve the Body of Christ in many ways, including through a marriage ministry-Kingdom Couples Fellowship. They celebrate 14 years of marriage as the proud parents of three beautiful daughters: Reekie, Krista and Cherleey.
